History/Accomplishments:

1979

• North American Roofing Systems was founded in Indianapolis, IN.

1980- 1984

• Coordinated with Firestone Building Products for the initial rollout of Firestone EPDM roof systems providing specifications and training of approximately 500 contractors on roof system installation methods. North American was the largest Firestone contractor in the United States during this period and listed on Inc. 500's top ten fastest growing companies.

1984

• North American Roofing Systems, Inc. was established as a private label manufacturer.
• Introduced the revolutionary concept of the manufacturer installing its own roof system …to improve the quality of installations, simplify the warranty process, and to offer building owners true one-source responsibility.
• Introduced our patented Perma-Lok roof attachment assembly resulting in billions of square feet specified throughout the United States.

1984-1992

• Continued testing new system designs, adhesives, and fastening methods to provide the best overall conservative roof system designs for long-term performance.
• Obtained increased market share through the manufacturer installed roof concept.

1992

• Established NorthStar Building Services, a division of North American Roofing.
• Provided roof management programs (includes preventative maintenance and inspections) for customers across the United States.

1992-2000

• Added second corporate office and various regional offices.

• Added additional product lines by selecting preferred trade name roof systems and increasing service capabilities to new customers.
• Implemented consultative selling approach to customers to better serve roofing needs based on roof type and budgetary concerns.

2001-Current

• Continued expansion of company through controlled growth and addition of key located crews and district offices.
• Expansion of product lines carefully chosen to provide best system options for customers.
• Changed company name to North American Roofing Services, Inc to reflect our comprehensive roofing system choices.

North American's CEO, Director of Operations, President of Sales, and Chief Estimator have over 100 years of combined roofing experience. Most Project Managers and the majority of Field Supervisors average over 20 years of continued service with North American alone.

Average roofing experience of our installation managers is over 15 years.
